Tarwa Art 2023

The first edition of the international festival "Tarwa Art" for children's folk arts was inaugurated in Taroudant. The festival is organized by the Youth Association for Culture and Development under the theme "The Magic of Childhood, Art and Fun, Love and Learning."

The festival, which runs until July 26, is organized in partnership with the National Initiative for Human Development, the Municipality of Taroudant, the Regional Council of Taroudant, the Council of the Souss-Massa Region, the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, and the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Early Childhood Education, and Sports in Taroudant.

The opening ceremony was marked by a carnival parade featuring various children's heritage and folk groups, including the Rodanian percussion group, Gnawa group, Ahwash group, Mezane Hawara group, Taskiwine Tifawin group, as well as folk dance and singing groups from Krakow and a folk dance group from Poland.
